Aspire to Inspire

Today I had a thought, I love my job and my volunteering opportunity because I become inspired by the people around me and in turn I inspire others. It’s a nice story how I thought of this and I want to share it with you.

I was getting a lift home from a friend at work and we were talking about how another co-worker is always so negative, we weren’t bitching about her, but saying how all of this week she has thought of the bad out comes and complained about something or another to someone once in the morning and then again in the afternoon. We discussed how in life you should smile more and go with the flow and take life as it comes and make the most of it. We spoke about how it’s not always that simple yet if we as co-workers can spot that someone is having a bad day and help them out and try and lift their spirits we might help just a little.

The conversation then moved on to how we had inspired each other this morning to come up with more ideas for work and how we had encouraged each other, and how in turn we had enjoyed work this morning and were really looking forward to when we could work together again. This made me think of the nonfiction book that i am currently reading, which I spoke about in my last blog. (Reading nonfiction books)

I thought of how it was nice to have this friend who thought along the same lines as me and was inspiring me to come up with new ideas and in turn I was inspiring her.

Too often the media and some times people in our lives focus on the bad and the negative in the world and it can bring us down. Yet if we choose to inspire others and spend time with those who inspire us, we will be much happier in ourselves and our lives.

Till next time from
